This dryer thermostat and fuse kit was used in many Maytag, Magic Chef, Norge, Montgomery Wards, Admiral and Crosley brand dryers. Dryers that use the LA-1044 element also use this kit. It comes with two dime-size thermal fuses: one for gas dryers and one for electric dryers. The part numbers of the fuses are 53-1096 and 53-1182. The part number of the high limit thermostat is 53-0771. (LA-1053)
